Our wood signs are made with a painted MDF backing. The backing is encased in a dado cut into the frame (ie. not stapled to the frame). We use 3/4" thick x 1-1/8" deep pine or spruce. The letters will be made from 1/8" MDF. The letters will be pre-painted, then cut on the laser machine. This means that the edges of the letters will not be painted but will have a finished laser cut edge.

The frames will have natural knots and markings. These markings create an unique touch on every frame. Due to this, the appearance of the frames may differ slightly and each piece may take the stain differently.
