These birth announcements are laser engraved on birch wood that is found right here in the forests of Saskatchewan.  Before the foresting industry burns the trees that they can't use, we bring that wood home, cut it, dry it, and laser engrave on it.  Each of these announcements is unique, because each log is different and so be sure to check the store to see the variety.  Each one comes with a black permanent marker so it makes the perfect little addition to a baby gift basket or to take to the hospital.  These are approximately 4.5 inches by 5 inches.
