Popcorn is a high fibre snack. Take a 1/2 cup of Schneider’s popcorn seed and 1/2 cup of a different popcorn seed and see the difference. Compare both quantities of finished product. There is an increased yield of 3 – 4 cups of popped kernels. The quality is evident when popped kernels have multiple finger extensions instead of a closed fist. By using Schneider’s Theatre II Snack Maker and suggested oil usage, the husk remains in the pot during the cooking process.

Theatre Spice is a unique popcorn salt. The Theatre Spice and the Kettle Corn Seasonings are the only seasonings that are placed into the Theatre II Snack Maker during the cooking process. The Theatre Spice is a butter flavoured seasoning. Place 4 tbsp Schneider’s Coconut Oil or 5 tbsp Schneider’s Premium Canola Oil, 1/2 cup Schneider’s Popcorn Seed and 1/3 – 1/2 tsp of Theatre Spice into Theatre II Snack Maker. Stove Setting medium high. Process takes 3 minutes-produces 16 cups of popcorn.

These Kaktus Wheat chips are made from wheat flour. When individuals hear the word Kaktus, they assume the product is made from cactus flour – please note the spelling of our word. Kaktus Wheat Checkers take 24-30 seconds to make using Schneider’s Theatre II Snack Maker. Kaktus Chips are a unique snack that when placed in a Schneider’s Theatre II Snack Maker with oil, will expand up to four times its original size. After cooking, drain oil and then let cool. Add 2 tsp of Schneider’s seasoning. Toss & Enjoy!! Kaktus Chips can also be made in an air popper, microwave, baked in the oven or deep fryer.

These oils are suggested because their low molecular structure makes them more stable and lighter than other oils. All Schneider’s Gourmet World suggested usages are guidelines to make a perfect snack. Individual consumers make the product determining the amount of oil and seasonings they wish to use. Both our Schneider’s Coconut Oil and Schneider’s Premium Canola Oil are non-hydrogenated. The Beta Carotene, which is what makes the oil a bright orange colour, is added to provide the oil with a butter flavour and bright colour without harmful additives.
